Our Story
For over 10 years, Maria White and Ann Marie Davis poured time, talent, and treasure into the Sabina program. Led by faith, and the work of Sister Rose, the two American women decided to revitalize St. Kizito Sabina Boarding Primary School (Sabina). Starting in January 2020, after collaborating with the Kampala Archdioceses, along with Stephen Sango, a local school manager and community leader, they were appointed managers of Sabina. Additionally, Kristin Parran, our U.S. collaborator, joined the team as a Principle Member; generously volunteering her time and talents on-site to begin work on the ground in Uganda. Through volunteerism, the team came together to reimagine how they could support the school in an expanded capacity–thus began Friends of Sabina (FOS). The team of four combine their talents, leadership skills, and networks to build a foundation of support and advocacy for the school and its mission.
OUR VISION
Building a brighter future through the love of learning.
OUR MISSION
To build a strong foundation by providing financing, advisory services, and volunteerism to create a sustainable, caring, and rewarding school environment where all are valued and supported.
